Apply to serve on the NoRTEC Workforce Development Board
NoRTEC is always looking for qualified business and community leaders to serve on the Workforce Development Board. WDB membership is an opportunity to shape workforce policy and connect employers with skilled workers across Northern California.
Who Should Apply
WIOA requires that a majority of WDB members represent private-sector employers. We are particularly interested in applicants from:
- Private industry and business owners
- Economic development organizations
- Labor organizations
- Education providers (secondary, post-secondary, adult education)
- Community-based organizations
- Workforce partners (EDD, Dept. of Rehabilitation, etc.)
